BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
This is a traditional Brazilian jujitsu class, in which participants wear a gi, also referred to as a kimono. This class provides the foundation of training in jujitsu and grappling, and is open to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Class format will generally consist of a half hour of warm ups, half hour of techniques to be drilled and a half hour of live sparring or "rolling "
Kids BJJ
Our Kids BJJ program is designed to help your child improve their discipline, focus, self-control, coordination, physical fitness and motor skills in a fun, safe, and family-friendly atmosphere! Our instructors make it a priority to assist each individual student to develop a positive self-image, and to cultivate a training environment that emphasizes teamwork, respect, goal setting and achievement. Self defense, anti-bullying, sport and competition applicaitons are all coordinated elements of our kids BJJ program!
NO GI
Similar in format to the Brazilian jujitsu class this class involves no gi training – instead of a gi, participants will wear rash guard, shorts, and spats. No gi tends to be a faster game than grappling and will help a student develop a tighter control of their submissions, sweeps and positional command.
